Join the staff at Marianas Eye Institute as part of our ophthalmic assistant staff.
We will train you in the skills you need!
As an ophthalmic assistant you will learn to:
- Take a medical history from a patient and understand their problem
- Check vision, eye pressure, and place eye drops
- Screen for eye diseases through focused portions of the eye exam
- Learn to use advanced diagnostic equipment
- Help patients with glasses
- Help educate patients
- Assist doctors in the examining room
- And more…
